STORAGE SYSTEM FOR UNIVERSITY OF STUTTGART

Storasol hat einen Hochtemperatur-Wärmespeicher bis 900°C an die Uni Stuttgart für Demonstrationszwecke & zukünftige Carnot-Batterie-Konzepte ausgeliefert.

On June 15, 2026, STORASOL delivered a high-temperature thermal energy storage system designed and built specifically for the University of Stuttgart.

The fixed-bed storage system is designed for continuous operating temperatures of 900°C and can be operated with various storage materials and particle sizes. The University of Stuttgart will use the VHTTES (Very High Temperature Thermal Energy Storage) for demonstration purposes and future Carnot battery concepts.

The commission is based on STORASOL’s expertise and its experience in the construction and operation of high-temperature systems designed for temperatures of up to 1,050°C.

We would also be happy to assist you with your high-temperature challenges. Contact us at: info@storasol.com
