STORASOL GmbH was nominated from a large number of applicants for the Baden-Württemberg Environmental Technology Prize 2017 for the high-temperature heat storage tank (HTTES). - Best Business IdeaSTORASOL GmbH wins the award in the category 'Advanced Stage' as 'Best Business Idea'.
OPTES® stands for Optimized Pumped Thermal Energy Storage – Battery and combines the advantages of low investment costs with very good power-to-power efficiency. In 2020 the OPTES® Battery was presented for the first time at the IRES (International Renewable Energy Storage Conference). The publication on this can now be read under OPTES®-Download .
The patent has now been granted in Germany and the international patent application has been made.
