The large-scale pilot plant at University of Bayreuth is the first HTTES in the megawatt scale and has 7 years of operational experience.

The new STORASOL Small Power-to-Heat module (S-PtH module)—designed for the cost-effective utilization of surplus electricity from PV systems and flexible electricity tariffs—is currently in the testing phase. STORASOL’s Power-to-Heat modules enable the conversion of surplus electricity into high-temperature heat (> 500°C) with exceptional efficiency rates exceeding 97%.
We are pleased to announce that Storasol has signed a cooperation agreement with MES Energy SA, a member of the MESOGEOS Group, for the Greek market. The focus is on sand-based high-performance thermal storage modules, including heat-to-heat (HtH) and power-to-heat (PtH) systems.

Dr. Schneider presented the development status of a demonstration plant at the 4th International Workshop on Carnot Batteries. The project is funded by grants from the Federal Republic of Germany.

Dr. Schneider has been working in the field of energy management and power plant technology in Germany and abroad for over 31 years and in various fields, including more than 23 years in management positions as Managing Director.
Dr. Hartmut Maier has also been engaged within the energy sector, as well as in the energy management and power plant sector for more than 30 years. His fascination for energy and power plant technology dates from his adolescence.
