ORCTES IS RUNNING SUCCESSFULLY

STORASOL GmbH was nominated from a large number of applicants for the Baden-Württemberg Environmental Technology Prize 2017 for the high-temperature heat storage tank (HTTES). - Best Business IdeaSTORASOL GmbH wins the award in the category 'Advanced Stage' as 'Best Business Idea'.
1) On March 16, 2016, as part of the world's largest energy storage conference in Düsseldorf (IRES - International Renewable Energy Storage), STORASOL had the first operating experience in operating the STORASOL high-temperature energy storage system HTTES with the ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) as part of a much-noticed presentation presented. 2) On March 3, 2016, a storage symposium with more than 50 people took place at the University of Bayreuth. Various lectures by representatives of ZET/University of Bayreuth, enolcon gmbh, STORASOL GmbH and Kelvion made for an interesting program. The energy storage system and the ORC were then shown to the visitors in groups, with the storage system being in operation. 3) Das ORCTES-Energiespeichersystem sammelt erfolgreich Betriebsdaten. Dabei wurde die Fahrweise weiter optimiert und es erfolgte ein Umbau im Luftleitungssystem das den Druckverlust um 20 mbar (!) verringert hat. Inzwischen wurde auch mit der gespeicherten Hochtemperatur-Wärme Strom produziert.
